Jamie Warren has extensive experience in human resources and labor relations. They have worked in various roles in both the public and nonprofit sectors.
From 2006 to 2012, Jamie worked for the Rochester City School District, initially as a Human Capital Initiatives Director and later as a Labor Relations Director. In these positions, they were involved in collective bargaining, contract interpretation, grievance response, and providing labor-related support and counseling to administrators and department managers.
From 2012 to 2015, Jamie served as the Assistant Superintendent for Human Resources at the Greece Central School District. They oversaw the development of human resources department objectives, coordinated human resource-related activities, and ensured compliance with district directives.
In 2015, Jamie joined the City of Rochester as a Labor Relations Manager. In this role, they negotiated and administered collective bargaining agreements, processed grievances, represented the city in arbitration proceedings and hearings, and provided contract-related advice to the Mayor and department heads.
From 2016 to 2022, Jamie worked as the Associate Superintendent of Human Resources at Buffalo Public Schools. They were responsible for various aspects of human resource management, including recruitment, training, performance appraisal, benefits administration, policy development, and employee relations.
Most recently, Jamie has been appointed as the Chief People & Culture Officer at Foodlink, a nonprofit organization dedicated to ending hunger and building healthier communities. In this role, they will lead the organization's efforts in addressing food insecurity and implementing programs that promote community health and well-being.
Jamie Warren earned a Master of Science degree in Bilingual Special Education from the University at Buffalo. This educational achievement took place from 1993 to 1995. Additionally, Jamie obtained a Certificate of Advanced Study in Educational Administration from SUNY Brockport between 2005 and 2007.
