Manager, Implementations at Foothold Technology

Sarah Galena has a diverse work experience in various organizations. Sarah started their career in 2005 as a Program Director at the National Jewish Council for Disabilities/Yachad, where they oversaw year-round recreational programming for adults with intellectual disabilities. Sarah focused on promoting social interactions and creating educational experiences within informal settings. Sarah ensured the safety of all participants.

In 2007, Sarah joined the City of New York as a Training and Outreach Specialist, where they worked until 2009.

Since 2009, Sarah has been associated with Foothold Technology. Sarah started as an Implementation Consultant, working closely with behavioral health and human service agencies to understand their data collection and reporting needs. Sarah configured the electronic health record (EHR) to ensure efficient data collection, successful billing, report generation, and interoperability. Sarah also developed implementation roll-out plans, training materials, and training agendas to promote EHR utilization and fast adoption of new practices from end-users. In December 2019, they transitioned to the role of Manager, Implementations at Foothold Technology.

Sarah Galena attended the University of Maryland from 1999 to 2003, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Special Education and Teaching. Furthermore, they pursued a Master's degree in Education at the same university from 2002 to 2003.
