Nicole O’Brien

Nicole O'Brien, CRISC, CTPRP, has a diverse background in risk management and third-party relationships. Nicole is currently working as a Third Party Risk Program Manager at Forbright Bank. Prior to that, they served as a Manager, Client Engagement at CORL Technologies, where they were responsible for engaging with clients. Nicole also held the position of Third Party Risk Officer at Venminder, where they provided expertise in vendor risk management and supported relationship managers and clients. Before that, they worked as a Risk Mitigation & Audit Analyst, Information Security Governance at AmeriHealth Caritas. Nicole has also gained experience as a Third Party Risk Senior Analyst at PHH Mortgage and as a Third Party Risk Senior Relationship Analyst at The Bancorp. Nicole started their career as an Intelligence Analyst/Arabic Linguist in the United States Air Force. Nicole has a strong understanding of risk assessment, relationship management, and policy and procedure development.

Nicole O'Brien, CRISC, CTPRP, has a diverse education history. Nicole obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Communication and Public Relations from Drexel University, where they attended from 2012 to 2014. Prior to that, they pursued an Associate of Science (A.S.) degree in Intelligence Studies and Technology from the Community College of the Air Force, completing their studies from 2008 to 2010. In 2006 and 2007, Nicole attended the Defense Language Institute Foreign Language Center, where they earned an Associate of Arts (AA) degree in Arabic Language.

Furthermore, Nicole has additional certifications that enhance their expertise. In 2019, they became a Certified Third Party Risk Professional (CTPRP) from the Shared Assessments institution. Nicole also acquired the Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC) certification from ISACA in 2017.
