Fernanda Basaglia Teodoro

Fernanda Basaglia Teodoro is currently serving as Assistant Counsel at the Ford Foundation since August 2022, following a role as a Legal Fellow. Prior experience includes working as an Associate in Charities, Social Business and Human Rights at Mattos Filho, Veiga Filho, Marrey Jr. e Quiroga Advogados from April 2019 to June 2021, where responsibilities included drafting legal opinions and corporate documents for nonprofit entities. Earlier roles feature legal internships at the Tribunal de Justiça do Estado de São Paulo and Machado Meyer Advogados, focusing on civil procedure, contracts, and corporate litigation. Fernanda holds a Master of Laws (LLM) from Harvard Law School and a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from FGV - Fundação Getulio Vargas, complemented by an international legal study program in Torino, Italy.
