Christopher Matthews

Christopher Matthews is an accomplished vehicle architect specializing in advanced electric vehicle design, currently employed at Ford Motor Company since December 2023. With over two decades of experience in the automotive industry, Christopher has held significant roles at notable companies including Rivian, Tesla, FCA Fiat Chrysler Automobiles, and Volvo Trucks. Expertise encompasses designing critical vehicle structures, developing innovative production solutions, and leading engineering projects from concept to prototype. Key achievements include contributions to the design of the Model S, Model X, and Model 3 at Tesla, as well as advancements in the rear trunk system for Dodge Charger. Christopher holds a degree from Crawley Technical College, completed in 1991.
