Cynthia Flanigan

Cynthia Flanigan is a seasoned professional with extensive experience at Ford Motor Company since October 2000, currently serving as the Henry Ford Technical Fellow in Sustainability. Flanigan has held various prominent roles, including Chief Engineer positions in Systems and Hardware Integration and Vehicle Research & Technology, as well as leadership in Design and Final Assembly Systems. Additionally, Flanigan has contributed as a Technical Leader in Elastomers Research and a Technical Expert in Plastics Research. Alongside this work, Flanigan is also a member of the Inforum AutomotiveNEXT Executive Committee since May 2022. Academic credentials include a B.S. in Materials Science and Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering from Northwestern University.
