Deepa Ramaswamy

Deepa Ramaswamy is a seasoned electrical engineer with extensive experience in advanced electrical architectures and battery management systems. Currently serving as Chief Engineer at Ford Motor Company since August 2017, Deepa continues to innovate in the automotive sector while also holding previous roles including Manager and Supervisor within the company. Deepa's expertise encompasses founding Hybrid Chakra Consulting, acting as Director of Engineering at LGCPI, and engaging with clients at Infosys as Practice Engagement Manager. Deepa's career also includes serving as Chief Engineer for Hybrid Systems at Ricardo and a previous tenure at Ford from 1995 to 2007. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. and MS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, and a B.Tech. from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras.
