John Cheng

John Cheng is currently the VP of Business Operations & Innovation for Ford China. John has over 24 years of experience in the automotive industry, including stints at Ford Motor Company, Changan Ford Mazda JV, and Ford China Operations. Cheng has been instrumental in developing Ford's presence in the Chinese market, and has played a key role in several joint ventures between Ford and Chinese companies. Cheng has a degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Michigan, and an MBA from Harvard Business School.

John Cheng has a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from the University of Michigan - Stephen M. Ross School of Business and a Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from The Ohio State University.

They are on a team with and Lyle Watters - GM, Ford Passenger Vehicle Division - Ford China. John Cheng reports to Anning Chen, President & CEO, China.
