Mahendar S has extensive experience in the automotive industry, currently serving as Deputy Manager at Ford Motor Company since March 2008, where notable achievements include leading over 100 digital process automation initiatives in material planning and logistics, significantly enhancing operational efficiency. Prior to this role, Mahendar worked at Hyundai Motor India Ltd from September 2005 to March 2008 as Assistant Manager, overseeing material handling and engineering change management for various body shop parts and managing the supply chain team for both local and imported CKD parts. Mahendar began the professional journey as an Engineer Trainee in material handling at Hyundai. Mahendar holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical from Anna University Chennai and M.N.M. Jain Engineering College, both completed between 2001 and 2005.
