Nevi Kaja

Nevi Kaja, PhD, currently serves as the Director of AI Engineering for Ford Motor Company's commercial division, Ford Pro, and FCSD Tech, focusing on AI strategy and platform delivery since September 2014. Prior roles at Ford include Senior Data & Analytics Manager, where multiple architecture teams were led to define next-generation AI and data science platforms, and Data Science Manager, overseeing use cases in NLP, Machine Learning, and MLOps. In addition, Kaja has experience as a Software Engineering Manager and Software Engineer, specializing in Machine Learning and Intelligent Systems. Since 2015, Kaja has also been an Adjunct Professor at the University of Michigan-Dearborn, teaching graduate-level courses in Embedded Systems, Pattern Recognition, Neural Networks, and Cloud Computing. As co-founder and CTO of Intvo from August 2018 to March 2019, Kaja contributed to tech innovation. Kaja holds a PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering as well as a Master of Science in Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Engineering, all from the University of Michigan.
