Prabhu Balasundaram

Prabhu Balasundaram possesses extensive experience in procurement and data analytics within the automotive industry, currently serving as a Supervisor at Ford Motor Company since July 2016. Responsibilities include managing a team of 10, overseeing part procurement, inventory forecasting, risk assessment, and collaborating with cross-functional teams for the North American Ford Customer Service Division. Previously held positions at Ford involved supporting the transition of procurement jobs to India and maintaining Bill of Materials for prototype builds. Prior to Ford, Prabhu worked at Nissan Motor Corporation from October 2010 to June 2016, where roles included facilitating supplier onboarding, managing pre-production project timelines, and establishing export protocols for automotive parts. Prabhu holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Industrial Electronics from Anna University and has a diploma in Instrumentation Technology.
