Eric Karsten

Eric Karsten is a seasoned engineering and technology leader with extensive experience at Ford Pro and Ford Motor Company. As the Director of Engineering at Ford Pro since January 2022, Eric focuses on delivering connected solutions for commercial customers to enhance fleet productivity and reduce operational costs. Previously, Eric served as Chief Architect for Ford Motor Company, guiding a team of 400 in transforming the company into a digitally-oriented organization. Other notable roles at Ford include Director of Enterprise Architecture and Senior Manager of Enterprise Engineering. Eric's tenure in the education sector includes positions on the Board of Directors for Fenton Area Public Schools Education Foundation and as a Trustee for Fenton Public Schools Board of Education. Eric's professional journey began at Silenus Group, where Eric served as Operations Manager/Owner. Academic credentials include a Master’s degree in Information Technology from Carnegie Mellon University and a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing and Management from Western Michigan University.
