Tokumbo Shobowale

Tokumbo Shobowale currently serves as Chief Financial Officer and Senior Vice President at Fordham University since October 2023. Previously, Tokumbo held the position of Executive Vice President for Business and Operations at The New School from November 2013 to October 2023. Tokumbo was also the Founding Chair of the Board of Directors at Leadership Prep Charter Schools from 2005 to 2013 and served as a Trustee until 2014. In the public sector, Tokumbo worked for the City of New York, Office of the Mayor, first as Chief Business Operations Officer from March 2010 to October 2013 and earlier as Chief of Staff for Economic Development. Additional experience includes being Chief Operating Officer at the New York City Economic Development Corporation from April 2003 to February 2010, as well as roles in management consulting at Dalberg Development and McKinsey & Co. Tokumbo holds an MBA from MIT Sloan School of Management, an MA in International Development from Columbia University, and an AB in Public Policy and Economics from Stanford University.
