Richard Kraemer is a seasoned expert in international relations and security policy, currently serving as a Non-Resident Senior Fellow at the European Values Center for Security Policy and contributing to the Middle East Institute’s Frontier Europe Initiative. With a focus on Eastern Europe, the Black Sea region, and Eurasian dynamics, Kraemer brings extensive experience from various organizations, including their role as Board President at the US-Europe Alliance and as a Nonresident Fellow at the Foreign Policy Research Institute. Their academic background includes a JD in International Law from American University and a BA in English from William & Mary. Prior engagements include senior positions at the National Endowment for Democracy and Development Alternatives Inc., as well as academic roles at Jagiellonian University.
