Frank Shotwell

Frank Shotwell has an extensive work experience spanning over several companies. Frank most recently worked at FreshCut as the VP of Engineering starting in October 2021. Prior to that, they held the position of Senior Director of Software Engineering at Pluto TV from August 2021 to October 2021, and Senior Software Engineering Manager from July 2020 to September 2021.

Before joining Pluto TV, Frank worked at Replicated as the Director of Engineering from August 2018 to March 2020. Frank also served as the Director of Engineering at Verizon Digital Media Services from November 2016 to July 2018, and as the Senior Manager of Infrastructure Engineering from July 2015 to November 2016.

Frank's earlier roles include Senior Director of Software Engineering at Demand Media from September 2012 to June 2015. At Sony, they held various positions such as Architect & Manager - Database Services QA at Sony Network Entertainment from April 2011 to September 2012, Director of Engineering - SNEI Client Applications Group from October 2008 to April 2011, Principal Software Engineer at SCA Sony Creative Software from March 2008 to October 2008, and Senior Software Engineer at SCA Sony Creative Software from January 2005 to March 2008.

Frank also worked as a Software Design Engineer at Sony Pictures Entertainment from June 2003 to January 2005 and at Sonic Foundry from October 1998 to June 2003. Their early career experience includes working as a Software Engineer at Novo Media Group from January 1997 to July 1998.

Frank Shotwell attended Benjamin Franklin High School. It is unclear when they started or completed their studies at this institution. After high school, Frank pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature at the University of California, Berkeley. Frank successfully completed this program, studying from 1990 to 1996.
