Jonathan Passerat-Palmbach is a seasoned researcher with a focus on Secure and Verifiable Compute methods related to Maximal Extractable Value (MEV) at Flashbots since October 2022. With an extensive background in Privacy Enhancing Technologies (PETS), Jonathan has contributed to significant research projects at Imperial College London, where a research fellowship has been held since January 2014. As an Occasional Collaborator with OpenMined, Jonathan has engaged in Federated Learning initiatives. Previous leadership roles include Head of R&D at Equideum Health and Director of Cryptography and Decentralised AI at ConsenSys Health. Jonathan’s academic qualifications include a PhD in Computer Science from Université Blaise Pascal. Notably, Jonathan is the author of the original PySyft paper presented at NeurIPS PPML'18.
