Sylvain de Backer-Thierry

Sylvain de Backer-Thierry is the current Vice President of Sales at Forest. Sylvain has previous experience as the Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) at EcoMundo, a global Sales Director, and a member of the board of directors. Sylvain is responsible for the entire revenues of the company and has coached and managed a team of 20 sales reps and directors.

Sylvain has an extensive background in sales with integrated cloud based software solutions. Sylvain also has demonstrated advanced selling & negotiation skills within highly matrixed organisations, very large enterprise and in complex environments. Additionally, they have experience managing key customer relationships and participating in closing strategic opportunities.

Sylvain's mentorship has helped the sales team to multiply results tenfold. Sylvain has built, coached, and managed an incredible sales team while also assisting in the growth of employees through coaching, training, and career development activities. Furthermore, they have set and tracked metrics, conducted and animated sales meetings, and defined a sales process that drives desired sales outcomes.

Sylvain has also developed and scaled the sales strategy (region and industry) to achieve ambitious sales goals and expand to new markets. This includes creating new business opportunities by detecting customers unfulfilled needs into effective new products or functions. Lastly, they have organized international market prospecting in order to identify new markets to set up and open a subsidiary.

As a member of the board of directors, Sylvain is responsible for meeting/exceeding revenue targets. Sylvain also provides detailed and accurate sales forecasting and manages data proactively.

Sylvain de Backer-Thierry has a Master's degree in Engineering from both the Ecole Nationale d'Ingénieurs de Tarbes - ENIT and Universidad Panamericana.
