Liz Johnston ACA, CMIRM, C-DPO is a seasoned risk and compliance professional with extensive experience in the financial services sector. Currently serving as Chief Risk Officer and Chief Compliance Officer at Foresters Financial since August 2015, Liz has previously held roles such as Enterprise Risk Partner at Direct Line Group, where oversight of the risk framework and self-certification processes was a key responsibility. Prior to that, at AXA UK, Liz led various Sarbanes Oxley testing initiatives and the internal controls effectiveness plan within financial services. Earlier career highlights include managing audits in local government and criminal justice at the Audit Commission. Liz Johnston holds a Bachelor's Degree in Economics from the University of York.
