Barbara McAndrews

Barbara McAndrews has a diverse background in legal counsel and compliance roles. Barbara began their career in 2001 as an Intellectual Property Associate at Wagner & Middlebrook Intellectual Property Attorneys, where they handled a range of intellectual property matters. In 2004, they joined Quiksilver as a Senior Legal Counsel, where they negotiated contracts and safeguarded the company from liability while overseeing legal affairs and product safety. From 2011 to 2020, Barbara worked as an independent legal consultant, assisting clients in the apparel, footwear, accessory, and outdoor sports industries with product labeling, safety testing, and compliance. Most recently, they served as Lead in the Product Integrity & Compliance Department, as well as Global Legal Counsel at Forever 21, where they directed legal affairs and managed compliance matters on a domestic and global scale.

Barbara McAndrews has a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Mathematics from UC Irvine. Barbara also holds a Doctor of Law (JD) degree from Southwestern Law School.
