Aga Gascoyne

Aga Gascoyne, PhD, is a seasoned professional in the field of biochemistry and biotechnology with extensive experience in the biopharmaceutical industry. Currently serving as the Director of GMP Manufacturing at Forge Biologics since May 2022, Aga previously held several key positions at Abeona Therapeutics, including Associate Director of Process Development, where responsibilities included managing AAV upstream and downstream process development teams and optimizing manufacturing processes. Prior to this, Aga contributed to the establishment of cGMP manufacturing facilities and led process development initiatives at Abeona. Earlier career experiences include roles as a Senior Research and Development Scientist at VWR, where custom product transitions were facilitated, and as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Cleveland Clinic, focusing on experimental design and project management. Aga earned a PhD in Biochemistry and a Master's degree in Biotechnology from Jagiellonian University.
