Wesley Nickels

Security Officer at Forge Institute

Wesley Nickels began their work experience in 2002 as a Security Forces member for the United States Department of the Air Force. Wesley then joined the Federal Law Enforcement Training Centers in 2011 as a Trainee. From there, they transitioned to the Air Force Office of Special Investigations (AFOSI), where they held various roles including Criminal Investigations/Counterintelligence Special Agent, Criminal Investigations Branch Supervisor, Personal Security Advisor to the Commander of Air Force Forces-Afghanistan, and Personal Security Advisor to the Secretary of the United States Air Force. In 2022, Wesley joined the Forge Institute as a Skillbridge Fellow and later became the Chief of Staff.

Wesley Nickels attended the Community College of the Air Force from 2002 to 2008, where they earned an Associate's degree in Criminal Justice and Corrections. Wesley then pursued further education at Park University from 2006 to 2008, focusing on the same field of study. More recently, from 2018 to 2022, Wesley attended Kaplan University to study Leadership and Management. However, no specific degree was mentioned for this period.
