Yevgen Zolotarov has worked in the scientific field since 2014. Yevgen began as a Research Assistant at McGill University, where they conducted differential gene expression analysis of RNA-seq data, constructed plasmids for the expression of target genes and microRNAs in Arabidopsis, and conducted reporter gene expression assays. In 2018, they became a Teaching Assistant at McGill University. In 2022, they began working at Fork & Good, Inc. as a Scientist, and later became a Scientist and Media Formulation Lead.
Yevgen Zolotarov obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Cell/Cellular and Molecular Biology, Specialization, with Distinction from Concordia University between 2005 and 2011. Yevgen then went on to obtain a Master's Degree in Plant Sciences, Bioinformatics from McGill University - Macdonald Campus between 2011 and 2014. Most recently, they have been pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Biochemistry at McGill University since 2015 and is expected to graduate in 2022. Additionally, they obtained a certification in Introduction to Data Science from Coursera in June 2013.
