Janna Rathert

Janna Rathert is a Staff Scientist at Form Energy, Inc. since July 2022, following a role as a PhD Candidate at Vanderbilt University from January 2018 to June 2022, where research focused on electrochemical modulation of optical materials and energy storage. Past experience includes serving as a Battery Research Scientist at Xerion Advanced Battery, where Janna advanced product development through self-directed research and electrochemical analysis techniques. Earlier positions include roles as a Solar Array Development Engineer at Space Exploration Technologies, Co-Founder of educational toy startup Miss Possible, and various internships and assistant roles in engineering and materials science. Janna holds a PhD in Electrochemical Energy Storage from Vanderbilt University and a B.S. in Materials Science and Engineering from the University of Illinois.
