Director Of Analytics at Form Energy

Scott Burger has extensive work experience in the energy and climate space. Scott is currently the Director of Analytics at Form Energy, where they have been working since October 2022. Prior to this role, they held positions as the Senior Manager, Analytics from July 2021 to October 2022, Manager, Analytics from May 2021 to July 2021, and Analytics Lead from September 2019 to May 2021.

Before joining Form Energy, Scott served as a Global Future Council on Energy Fellow at the World Economic Forum from September 2018 to October 2020.

Scott also worked at Prime Coalition from January 2017 to September 2019, first as a Technology Investment Advisor and then as the Director of Operations. In these roles, they designed and implemented climate impact assessment methods, supported investment operations, and led engagements with various organizations.

Scott was also a Technical Team Member at Breakthrough Energy Ventures from September 2018 to June 2019, where they led modeling and screening of potential climate impact criteria for portfolio companies.

Scott started their career as a Fellow at Prime Coalition from September 2014 to October 2015 and as a Grid Engineering intern at SolarCity from June 2015 to September 2015.

Additionally, Scott served as the Managing Director of the MIT Clean Energy Prize competition from August 2014 to September 2015, where they successfully fundraised grants for student entrepreneurs.

Before that, they worked at Greentech Media as an Analyst, managing non-U.S. downstream market coverage from June 2012 to July 2013.

Scott's early experience includes working at Circular Energy as the Director of Engineering from January 2012 to June 2012 and as a Design Engineer from June 2011 to January 2012.

Scott Burger has a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Engineering Systems from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Scott also holds a Master of Science (SM) degree in Technology and Policy, specializing in the Engineering Systems Division, from the same institute. Before their postgraduate studies, Scott obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS), graduating Cum Laude, in Chemical Engineering from Washington University in St. Louis.
