Szabolcs Farkas

Szabolcs Farkas has extensive work experience in various engineering roles. Szabolcs worked as a Senior Principal Engineer at FormFactor Inc. from 2021. Prior to that, they were a Process Development Engineer at Xerox from 2013 to 2022, where they participated in building prototypes and implementing manufacturing processes. Szabolcs also worked as an Engineer at Genentech in 2013, supporting project execution in pharmaceutical visual inspection processes. Before that, they were a Technical Lead Process Engineer at Sealed Air Hungar from 2010 to 2013, where they handled technical support and managed projects. Szabolcs started their career as a Process Engineer at IBIDEN Hungary Kft. from 2007 to 2010, optimizing production lines and applying statistical methods.

Szabolcs Farkas holds a Master of Science - MS degree in Materials Science Engineering from Portland State University. Szabolcs also has a Bachelor of Science - BS degree in Chemistry with Materials Science and German from Oregon State University. In addition, they have obtained certifications in Shainin Red X Apprentice from Xerox in 2015, Fundamentals of Total Productive Maintenance from Sealed Air Hungary in 2012, and various certifications in Design of Experiments, ISO/TS 16949:2009 Automotive Requirements, Six Sigma Basic, and Six Sigma Black Belt from IBIDEN Hungary Kft.
