Marie Hemsley

Marie Hemsley has a diverse work experience starting in 2007. Marie began their career as a Jurist Linguist at OECD - OCDE and later worked as a Legal Intern at the Court of Justice of the European Union. In 2009, they served as a Legal Assistant at CNRS - Délégation d'Ile-de-France Sud, conducting research on the fiscal and legal status of European research infrastructures.

From 2010 to 2014, Marie worked as a Public Affairs Assistant at FFSA and a Parliamentary Assistant with Senator Yves KRATTINGER at Sénat. In 2015, they became an Office Manager and Program Manager at the French American Chamber of Commerce San Francisco.

In 2016, Marie co-founded Palette, a catering business that eventually transformed into a fine dining restaurant and art gallery. Marie played a crucial role as the Chief Administrative Officer and the owner's right-hand person, managing various aspects of the business such as administrative organization, marketing, operations, events, hiring, and research.

In 2019, Marie founded the Palette Culinary and Fine Arts Foundation, serving as its President.

Continuing their career in 2022, Marie held the position of Operations & Administrative Manager | Special Projects at Formic Ventures and Formic Labs.

Marie Hemsley's education history consists of several academic achievements. Marie attained a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in International Business from London South Bank University in 2010. In the same year, they also obtained a Master of Arts (M.A.) in European Affairs Management from EMLV - École de Management Léonard de Vinci. Prior to that, they completed a Master's degree in European Law from the University of Paris I: Panthéon-Sorbonne between 2007 and 2009. In 2008, Marie earned a Master's degree in English from ISIT. Furthermore, they pursued a Certificate in Project Management from UC Berkeley Extension in 2023. Additionally, they completed the Harvard Business School Online CORe program in 2021, which encompassed Business Analytics, Economics for Managers, and Financial Accounting. Marie Hemsley also acquired skills in Business and Financial Modeling through the Wharton Online program in 2023.
