Christian Poppe

Christian Poppe has had a varied and successful career in public affairs and public relations. In 2012, they began their career as an intern at the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany in Warsaw. Christian then went on to intern at the German Parliament in 2013 and work as a working student in public relations and online marketing at Amundi Pioneer in 2014. In 2016, they joined Heller & Partner as a Junior Consultant Public Affairs & Public Relations, where they were promoted to Senior Manager Public Affairs & Public Relations and Team Lead Digital & Media Practice in 2017. In 2020, they joined Bird as Senior Public Policy Associate DACH and Delivery Hero SE as Manager Global Public Policy and Government Affairs. Christian was also a Founding Board Member at Delivery Platforms Europe, where they work to raise awareness of the unique benefits of local delivery services across the EU. In 2022, they joined Formo as General Manager APAC and Director Global Public Affairs & Sustainability.

Christian Poppe has a diverse educational background. From 2006 to 2010, they attended Maastricht University School of Business and Economics, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in International Business. In 2009, they were an exchange student at the Universidad de Salamanca. Christian then attended Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science & Law in 2013, and a Master of Arts in Political Science in 2015.
