Jessie Chen

Jessie Chen's work experience includes a role as a Process Engineer at Formosa Plastics Corporation, U.S.A. since April 2021. Prior to that, they were an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the Johnston Research Group from June 2019 to May 2020, where they investigated the effects of nanoparticles on surface tension and optimized foam heights in various temperatures and pressures. They also worked as a Community Assistant at San Miguel Management, LP from May 2019 to August 2019. Additionally, they served as a Chlor-Alkali Unit Operations Intern at Formosa Plastics Group from June 2018 to August 2018 and as a Research Intern at the University of Houston from July 2015 to June 2016.

Jessie Chen attended Clements High School from 2012 to 2016, where they obtained their High School Diploma, Cum Laude (Top 7%). Following their high school education, they enrolled at The University of Texas at Austin from 2016 to 2020. During this period, Jessie pursued a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Chemical Engineering. In September 2020, they obtained the certification of Engineer In Training from the Texas Board of Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors.
