David Lawson

David Lawson serves as the Head of F1 Security for Grand Prix and Mass Public Events at Formula 1 since March 2022, overseeing security operations for global events. In addition to this role, David Lawson provides consultancy to Formula 1 Management on event safety and security, leveraging eighteen years of experience managing the complex security requirements of international sporting events and coordinating stakeholders to address identified threats and risks. Previously, David Lawson held the position of Detective Superintendent with Northamptonshire Police.
