Lisa Paruch has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and organizations. Lisa currently holds the position of Research Professor at NIBIO Norwegian Institute of Bioeconomy Research since September 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Research Scientist at the same institute from December 2012 to August 2022.
Before joining NIBIO, Lisa served as a Scientist at LingVitae AS - Norwegian Biotechnology Company from May 2004 to January 2012. Lisa also held the role of Postdoc at the Norwegian University of Life Sciences from June 2002 to April 2004.
In addition, Lisa gained research experience through postdoctoral positions at the Chinese Academy of Science, Dalian, from June 2001 to June 2002, and at the Department of Medical Microbiology and Immunology, Dalian Medical University, from August 1995 to June 2002.
Earlier in their career, Lisa worked as a Scientist at Dalian Wanda Pharmaceutical Company from October 1995 to March 1998.
Lisa Paruch obtained their Bachelor of Clinical Medicine from the Clinical Medicine College at Dalian Medical University from 1987 to 1992. Lisa then pursued a Master of Medicine degree in Medical Microbiology and Immunology from the Basic Medicine Faculty at Dalian Medical University, which they completed in the period of 1992 to 1995. Lastly, Lisa earned their Ph.D. in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the Biochemical Engineering Institute at Dalian University of Technology, attending from 1998 to 2001.
