Lorenzo Scrocca (PMP®, PMI-ACP®)

Lorenzo Scrocca has a diverse work experience spanning over 17 years. Lorenzo is currently working as a Program Manager at FORSEVEN, a company focused on reimagining the manufacturing, ownership, and connectivity of electric vehicles. Prior to this, they served as the Strategic Project Management Office Unit Head at the Department of Culture and Tourism from 2019 to 2022. In this role, they implemented project management governance and monitored a range of programs and projects.

Before joining the Department of Culture and Tourism, Lorenzo worked at EY as a Senior Manager from 2016 to 2019. Lorenzo provided advisory services to businesses and government entities in GCC countries on VAT implementation and business model optimization. Lorenzo also oversaw the creation of Project Management Offices and supported the start-up phase of companies and the establishment of new divisions.

From 2014 to 2016, Lorenzo worked as a Consulting Manager at Adivo Consulting, where they provided advisory services to top management on business transformations. Notably, they advised the Abu Dhabi Department of Transport on organizational design and the implementation of a new government entity for public transportation. Lorenzo also structured procurement strategies for public transportation assets and outsourcing services.

Starting their career at KPMG Italy in 2005, Lorenzo gained broad and diversified experience in supporting clients in various end-to-end projects related to business transformation and change. Lorenzo contributed to the creation of the Italian Justice & Security practice and acted as a country focal point for the Justice & Security International Centre of Excellence network. Lorenzo also taught a class on planning, control, and reporting as part of the KPMG training curriculum.

In 2005, Lorenzo had a short-term internship at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, where they supported the Treaties and Diplomatic Contention Office in defining international agreement ratification procedures and conducting research on international relations topics.

Lorenzo Scrocca (PMP®, PMI-ACP®) obtained a University Degree in Economics from Università degli studi Roma TRE, where they studied from 2000 to 2005. In 2020, they completed the Project Management Principles and Practices Specialization from UC Irvine. Furthermore, they have obtained additional certifications from the Project Management Institute, including the Project Management Professional (PMP®) in September 2020 and the PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) in June 2021.
