Dennis Fimland

Dennis Fimland is a researcher at Forsvarets forskningsinstitutt - FFI since June 2022, specializing in numerical analysis of viscous flows, elastic deformations, as well as numerical and experimental studies of shock and vibrations. Prior to this role, Dennis completed a Master of Science at SINTEF Ocean, focusing on software development and the enhancement of the integrated hydrodynamic analysis package ShipX. A student internship at Sevan SSP AS involved the digitalization of hull design and evaluation methods. Dennis holds a Master's degree in Computational Science from the University of Oslo and a Master of Science in Hydrodynamics from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology. Coursework in Mathematics and Computer Science was also completed at NTNU.
