Janet Martha Blatny

Janet Martha Blatny has extensive work experience in research and academia. Janet Martha has worked at the Forsvarets forskningsinstitutt - FFI since 2003, holding multiple roles including Research Director, Division Director, Research Manager, and Scientist. Prior to that, they worked as a Postdoctoral Scholar at NMBU - Norwegian University of Life Sciences from 1998 to 2003 and at Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) from 1997 to 1998.

Janet Martha Blatny obtained their MSc in Biotechnology Engineering from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) from 1985 to 1989. Janet Martha then pursued their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Biotechnology at the same institution from 1990 to 1997. In 2009, they attended Forsvarets høgskole (FHS), the Norwegian Defence College, but did not earn a degree or specify a field of study. In 2016, they completed the Nordic course Societal Security and Preparedness. Additionally, Janet participated in a Shortcourse on Aerosol Science in Minnesota, USA, in 2007, and took a Project Management course at the BI Norwegian School of Management in the same year.
