Nils Larsen

Nils Larsen has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Nils started their career at Statkraft as an Avdelingsingeniør and worked there from August 1991 to November 1992. Nils then joined NSB Bane, where they held various roles, including Project Manager and Construction Manager Assistant Electro, from November 1992 to February 1995. Nils then worked at ECT as a Sivilingeniør from July 1995 to May 1998. Nils then joined Statnett SF as a Siv. ing and worked there from May 1998 to July 2011. During their time at Statnett SF, they coordinated development projects, managed technical asset data, and integrated document management systems. Following this, Nils worked as a Technical Manager at Studentsamskipnaden i Oslo from August 2011 to November 2015. In this role, they were responsible for various tasks, including project management, procurement, and strategic development. Nils then joined Bane NOR as a Project Manager from February 2016 to July 2017. Currently, Nils holds the position of Head of Property Development at Forsvarets forskningsinstitutt - FFI, starting from July 2017.

Nils Larsen's education history is as follows:

In 1972, Nils attended Gol ungdomsskole and completed their primary school education.

From 1981 to 1984, they attended Hallingdal Gymnas, where they pursued a degree in Naturfag (Natural Sciences) at the videregående level.

Nils then enrolled at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) from 1984 to 1988, where they pursued a degree in Sivilingeniør (Civil Engineer) specializing in Electrical Engineering Technologies/Technicians.

In 1995, Nils obtained their approval as a "sakkyndig driftsleder" (certified operational manager) from Produkt og Elektrisitetstilsynet (Product and Electricity Authority) in the field of Electrical and Electronics Engineering.

In 2010, Nils earned a Master Certificate in Project Management from Metier Academy and SKEMA Business School.

During the same year, they also obtained a certification as a Lean Project Manager from Valcon, specializing in Lean methodologies.
