Roger Porter

Roger Porter possesses extensive experience in safety and security management, currently serving as the Director of Safety and Security for the Fort Dodge Community School District since July 2023. Prior to this role, Roger dedicated 27 years to the City of Fort Dodge, culminating in a position as Assistant Chief of Police. Additionally, Roger held the title of Chief of Police within the Fort Dodge Police Department from July 2017 until retirement in April 2023. Roger earned a Bachelor's degree in Criminology from the University of Northern Iowa.
