Peyman Habibi

Peyman Habibi is a seasoned scientist with extensive experience in protein expression and biotechnology. Currently serving as a Senior Scientist at Forte Protein Inc. since October 2022, Peyman provides technical leadership on cross-functional project teams and oversees day-to-day lab operations. Prior to this role, Peyman worked at AlphaThera as a Senior Scientist, specializing in codon optimization, protein purification, and quality control analysis. Peyman's academic background includes a postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania, where significant contributions were made in recombinant protein production and the development of bioreactor systems. Previous positions include Molecular Biologist at Embrapa Recursos Genéticos e Biotecnologia, focusing on HIV entry inhibitors, and Fermentation Specialist at zist daru danesh, responsible for large-scale protein production. Peyman holds a PhD in Biotechnology from Embrapa Genetic Resources and Biotechnology.
