Ken held various technical and leadership roles at companies such as GreenLight Biosciences, Inc., Corteva Agriscience™, Dow AgroSciences, The Dow Chemical Company, Mycogen Corporation, and American Cyanamid. Ken'swork involved leading teams, developing new modes of action proteins for insect resistance in various crops, collaborating with commercial business units, and delivering product concepts for transgenic crop products. Additionally, they have a background in molecular biology and gene discovery, particularly in the discovery and validation of novel insecticidal protein toxins for biopesticides and transgenic crops.
Ken Narva completed their Bachelor of Science in Biology/Biological Sciences from Central Michigan University in 1980. Ken then went on to earn their Doctor of Philosophy in Microbiology from Louisiana State University in 1985.
