Edward Smith

Edward Smith is currently the Cloud Services Lead at RRAI, where he bootstrapped the Product Security process and manages a team of Security Engineers. He previously worked as a Sr. Data Engineer at the University of Maryland Medical System, leading a team focused on medical research data needs. At Multi Media, LLC, he managed the enterprise ELT process and developed a public-facing data API. Edward also worked at Cisco as a Software/Security Architect, and managed a large-scale IP and Domain reputation reporting system. His experience includes roles such as Project Technical Lead, Logistics Specialist/Linux Administrator, CH-47 Pilot, Programmer/Analyst, and VB/Microsoft SQL Server Application Developer. Edward holds a B.A. in Computer Science, Philosophy, and Spanish from the University of Central Florida.
