James Rodger

James Rodger is a Systems Engineer currently employed at WAE since June 2023. Prior to this role, James worked at Tevva Hydrogen Electric Trucks from October 2021 to July 2023, contributing to the Hydrogen Range Extender team as an Engineer, where involvement focused on the development of the company's first 7.5 Tonne PEM Fuel Cell Range Extender Vehicle. James also gained a solid foundation in BEV powertrains, PEM Hydrogen Fuel Cells, and their control systems during a Graduate Engineer program, receiving an early promotion due to outstanding performance. Earlier experience includes lifeguarding for Gateshead Council and Places for People Leisure, as well as participation in the Randstad Williams Engineering Academy with Williams Racing from 2015 to 2017. James holds a Master of Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering (Automotive) from the University of Birmingham and a Foundation in Engineering from Brunel University of London, complemented by earlier education at Emmanuel College Gateshead.
