Leslie Weise

Leslie Weise has a diverse work experience in various companies and roles. Leslie is currently working as the Principal Commercial R&D at Fortescue. Prior to this, Leslie worked as a Senior Counsel at Volta Charging from July 2020 to October 2022. Leslie also founded Beeco Corp in 2011, a sustainability focused technology and marketing company. Leslie has experience in legal roles as well, having worked as an Assoc General Counsel at Redback Networks, Asst General Counsel at Honeywell, and IP Counsel at Applied Materials. Leslie also served as a Patent Attorney at Xerox PARC and had a role as a Legal Intern at the Department of Energy for service to NREL. Leslie is the Principal of Weise Consulting Services, a business consulting firm that provides services to various organizations.

Leslie Weise obtained their Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) from Boston University between 1983 and 1987. Leslie then pursued their Juris Doctor (JD) and Master of Intellectual Property (MIP) degrees at the University of New Hampshire from 1990 to 1993. Weise furthered their legal education at the University of Denver - Sturm College of Law, where they earned a Master of Laws (LLM) degree in Environmental and Natural Resource Law and Policy from 2004 to 2005.
