Ripan Kapoor

Ripan Kapoor is an experienced engineering professional with a robust background in mechanical and process engineering. Currently serving as Manager Process & Mechanical Engineering for Global Projects at Fortescue Future Industries since April 2021, Ripan specializes in renewable power and green hydrogen projects. Previous roles include integrity management at North Caspian Operating Company N.V. and as an Integrity Management Specialist at Atkins. Ripan’s extensive tenure at Shell, spanning from May 2007 to June 2020, involved leadership positions across materials, corrosion, and inspection disciplines for various high-profile projects like the Shell Prelude FLNG plant and the Shell Polymers Project. Earlier experience includes specialized inspection at Kuwait Oil Company and senior mechanical engineering at Gujarat State Fertilizers & Chemicals Limited. Ripan holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Metallurgical Engineering from M.S. University of Baroda.
