Michael Geisler

Michael Geisler has a varied work experience beginning in 2014. Michael began their career as an Insurance AR Specialist at Greenway Health, where they reduced claim denials by 25% and increased productivity by 20%. In the same year, they began working as a Security Manager for the US Army, where they launched security controls, policies and quality assurance evaluations, conducted over 50 weekly risk assessments, and developed disaster recovery plans. In 2019, they began working as a Client Engagement Associate at CORL Technologies, where they were responsible for assessing and evaluating security operations and compliance for healthcare clients' vendors. Michael also began working as a Product Manager at FortifyData, where they provided leadership to a team of three software engineers and two data scientists in the development of a cyber risk management platform. Michael also oversaw security and compliance operations in relation to the product, as well as the company. Michael created and maintained a rolling 12-month product roadmap and consulted with 19 clients on remediation efforts on identified risks, while providing security and compliance strategy to 6 clients. Michael also provided guidance and recommendations to 12 clients on various compliance standards. In the same year, they began working as a Security Analyst (Contract) at Novelis.

Michael Geisler is currently pursuing a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Kennesaw State University's Michael J. Coles College of Business, which they started in 2020 and is expected to complete in 2022. Michael previously earned a Master's of Science in Information Technology - Security and Assurance from American InterContinental University in 2020. Michael also holds a Bachelor's degree from The University of Georgia, which they obtained in 2014.
