Unity Developer at Fortis Games

Diogo Matsumoto has extensive work experience as a Unity Developer, starting in 2010. Diogo began their career at Fortis Games in 2022 as a Unity Developer. Prior to this, they worked at Oktagon Games from 2010 to 2022 in various roles. Their responsibilities included live operations in Unity, adapting gameplay logic to be deterministic, implementing automated tests and real-time multiplayer, solving bugs and implementing new content, and learning how to use PlayerIO BigDB. Diogo also worked on projects such as Battle Ages, Battle Islands, and 2048 Pooks, where they contributed to UI and gameplay logic, implemented multiplayer features, and created AI bots. Before joining Oktagon Games, Diogo was a Software Engineer at a project called Playphone Mega Jackpot, where they learned Cocos Engine, implemented a physics simulation server in Unity Engine, and created a deterministic physics simulation. Diogo also has experience as a C++ Developer, working on the Tv Total Events project, where they learned Trinity Vision Engine, implemented core UI logic, and used Lua script to bind events to the UI.

From 2009 to 2013, Diogo Matsumoto attended the Federal Technology University of Paraná, where they earned a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) degree in Information Technology.
