James Fielding

James Fielding is an accomplished game director with extensive experience in the gaming industry, currently serving as Game Director at Fortis Games since December 2024. Prior to this, Fielding held the position of VP of Design at TruPlay Games and Executive Director of Design at Rumble, where innovative and experimental gameplay was emphasized. Fielding's career began at Plarium, where as Game Director and later President of Plarium Michigan, significant contributions were made to mid-hardcore F2P mobile games. Additional experience includes a tenure at S2 Games, overseeing the development of titles like Strife and Heroes of Newerth, as well as providing gameplay balance consultancy for Electronic Arts on notable RTS titles. Fielding's educational background includes attendance at Graceland University.
