Sidney Icarus has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. They started their career in the Royal Australian Air Force as an Air Battle Manager, where they were responsible for air warfare planning and execution as well as providing homeland defense. They also had the opportunity to develop and execute crisis management plans and training programs for surveillance personnel.
After leaving the military, Sidney worked as an Ambulance Attendant at St John Ambulance, specializing in code 2 and 3 ambulance responses. They focused on managing high-conflict relationships and facilitating support for palliative patients. They also trained new patient transport officers in handling aggressive patients.
Sidney then transitioned to a role as a Robotic Surgical Consultant at Stryker, where they provided subject matter expertise in joint replacement surgery and guided surgical decision-making. They achieved exceptional results and completed tasks in half the expected time.
Following that, Sidney worked at Emerson Health as a Consultant and Analyst, providing advisory services. They contributed to projects involving healthcare and demonstrated their skills in influencing and problem-solving.
Sidney also worked at Wax Wings as a Principal Consultant, specializing in project management and narrative design. They focused on engaging and influencing emotions and decisions, creating impactful and emotional stories for clients.
Currently, Sidney is working at Fortis Games as a Game Designer, contributing their skills and expertise to game development.
