Karmen Lai

Karmen Lai has a diverse work experience in the financial industry. Karmen started their career as a Personal Assistant at MetLife in 2010 and then moved on to work as a Relationship Banker at JPMorgan Chase in 2012. After that, they joined MetLife again, where they held roles as a Business Consultant and later as a Client Experience Director and Onboarding & Transition Specialist. In 2014, they also worked as a Business Consultant at V-Promise Insurance Broker Inc. Karmen'smost recent position was as the Director of Strategic Initiatives at Fortis Lux Financial, where they worked on high-priority business initiatives and collaborated with key stakeholders to provide data-driven insights and drive tangible outcomes. Karmen is licensed to sell insurance and securities in several states.

Karmen Lai completed a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Economics from the City University of New York-College of Staten Island from 2010 to 2012. Karmen then pursued a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) degree in Accounting and Finance from the same institution between 2005 and 2009. In 2018, they attended the Columbia Business School for a Certificate Course in Digital Marketing. Additionally, Karmen Lai obtained a certification in Google Project Management: Specialization from Coursera in October 2021.
