Mike Sheffey

Mike Sheffey has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and industries. Mike is currently working as a Senior Vice President at Fortis, a position they assumed in 2022. Prior to joining Fortis, they held the same role at CardConnect starting from June 2018. Before that, Mike was the Managing Partner at Smart Pay Technologies, which was acquired by Fortis, from June 2018 until 2022. Mike also served as the CTO at Axiamed from May 2014 to May 2018, when the company was acquired by Bank of America. Earlier in their career, Mike held various roles at Axia Payments, where they served as the VP of Business Development from November 2013 to May 2014 and as a Business Consultant from February 2006 to November 2013. Furthermore, Mike was the EVP of Product Management at Kaseya from June 2007 to October 2013. Mike co-founded Versora in 2004 and worked there as a Co-founder until it was acquired by Kaseya Corporation in 2007. Finally, Mike started their career at Miramar Systems, where they served as the VP of Global Sales from August 1995 to January 2004, before the company was acquired by Computer Associates.
