Heather Speers

Ms. Speers brings more than 15 years of leadership experience with FortisAlberta, offering a broad range of experience, business acumen and expertise in the areas of human resources, labour relations, customer service and billing operations. In her role as Vice President, Human Resources, Ms. Speers is accountable for the effective delivery of FortisAlberta programs that support employees, ensuring the company's culture and values remain consistent in this delivery and that they are top of mind in the ongoing development of the company’s programs and practices. Her areas of leadership responsibility include employee and labour relations, talent management, total rewards and employee wellness. Ms. Speers holds a Professional Management Certificate from the University of Calgary.
