Helmut Krcmar

Helmut Krcmar is a distinguished academic and researcher with a career spanning several decades in the field of Information Systems. Currently, Helmut Krcmar serves as a Senior Research Fellow at Fortiss and holds the position of Universitätsprofessor at TU München since 2002. Helmut Krcmar co-founded and was the Academic Director at Fortiss from 2009 to 2015, subsequently serving on its Speaker Board of Directors until 2019. Prior academic roles include a professorship at Universität Hohenheim from 1987 to 2002, and assistant professorships at Baruch College and NYU Stern School of Business in the mid-1980s. Helmut Krcmar began academic career as a Postdoctoral Fellow at IBM and worked as a Wissenschaftlicher Assistent at Saarland University.
