Ken Bailey has a diverse work experience spanning over various industries and roles. Ken began their career at Putnam Investments as a Senior Technical Administrator and later transitioned into a Plan Administrator role. Ken then moved on to BB&T as a Plan Administrator before joining Fidelity Investments as an Operations Manager, where they successfully led a transition and implemented Lean process improvements. Ken then advanced to Senior Operations Manager and eventually became the Director of Operations.
After Fidelity Investments, Ken joined Genworth as the Director of Life and Annuity New Business and Shared Services, where they achieved significant sales growth. Ken was also the Divisional Operational Risk Leader, overseeing multiple risk areas and implementing key governance measures. Following Genworth, they worked at Change Healthcare as the Director of Client Services, overseeing print, payment, and payment automation services. There, they focused on providing streamlined communications and payment solutions while advocating for customer needs.
Ken's next role was at Empyrean Benefit Solutions, Inc. as the Director of Service Center Strategy and Business Processing Shared Services. Ken led a multi-site contact center and back-office benefits processing team, implementing quality monitoring measures and revamping KPIs.
Currently, Ken is working at Fortitude Re as the FLAS Chief Risk Officer and Group Operations Risk Officer. Ken is responsible for managing risk and operations-related tasks within the company.
Throughout their career, Ken has consistently demonstrated leadership skills, process improvement expertise, and a customer-centric approach in their roles.
Ken Bailey attended Suffolk University from 1995 to 2000, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Developmental and Child Psychology / Elementary Education. In 1991, they graduated from Xaverian Brothers High School. In 2015, Ken obtained a Professional Certification in Operational Risk Management (ORM) from an undisclosed institution. Additionally, in 2013, they completed the Experienced Managers Course- Executive Education at the University of Virginia Darden School of Business.
